It?s a pretty embarrassing one for the ref to watch back I?ll give him that. Shocker
Their number 5 should have had a second yellow too for scathing Berry down on the edge of the box whilst on a yellow

He can only have thought that the defender got the ball after Jacobs touched it. I've tried observing the path of the ball and it definitely gets caught up somewhere in the tackle when I'd have expected it to roll out of play. Even so it's a dangerous, wild, attempted block.

If their 5 isn?t already booked, he gives him a booking for that challenge.
That is refs in a nutshell.

I might be getting paranoid, but if it was at the other end he'd have given it, if we'd been 4-0 up he'd have given it. The consistency in which he'd issued cautions was good but the failure to do so for the foul on Berry was criminal.
Game changing decisions like these never, that's never seem to go our way, it's uncanny.
Cooky only gets booked due to the incompetency of officals, if last night's clown is owt to go by should we start a "Go Fund Me" page to cover his potential fines?

Wow. Couldn't be clearer. Their man just stamps on Jacob's right foot.

Thought about this and there are a lot of contenders but I'd put it in 2nd place behind an ignored attempted decapitation on Eoin Doyle by the Bristol rovers goaly leading 10ish minutes later when after another poor decision Eoin clearly suggested the ref wasn't having his best game and was then awarded an early bath.
Credit to the ref at Bristol as its alleged that on reflection he wrote a letter of apology to the club. Would a similar form of apology from Tuesdays clown pacify us for the potential 2 points he cost us which, come the end of the season may well be vital.

This is the issue. They can apologise all they want but as cookie said post match, what?s the point? It doesn?t get us our points back. He was literally the only bloke in the stadium that didn?t think it was a penalty. I wasn?t even in any doubt when the challenge happened, I was almost celebrating being awarded a penalty straight away as it was that obvious!
As Goku said, I think it?s the worst I?ve seen in person against us. Much softer penalties awarded across the EFL this weekend. It beggars belief.
