I would have thought that he'll start with Vontae, because he's seen what he can do, plus he looked far from being a rookie in the games I saw him play in, and that's why I'm not a football manager. As on an earlier posting, it could be Mandeville, our Columbian international or even Williams, who knows apart from Paul Cook. I certainly wouldn't bet on who'll start.

I think he may well start with the same team that played at Scunny with the new lad from Fulham on the bench. Having said that im sure Fulham will want him playing as much as poss.

I am guessing Tanton hasn't come to sit on the bench he wants game time and he will have had a full pre season with Fulham and he will have had this week to integrate into our style and squad

I wonder if he is on a similar deal to what Tyrer was last season, ie the more he plays the cheaper he is?

Also, if we getting a reputation around the Prem for looking after their younger lads that can only be a good thing?

No mention of Jones?
Imo, whilst Naylor can of course cover for Grimes, a CM without both Naylor and Jones is asking for trouble defensively, ergo if Grimes only needs game time I'd stick him in.
That said, both Banks and Oldaker are capable of MOM performances in CM, but inconsistent defensively.
