It's puzzling, a few days ago someone on FB was asking if anyone had spare tickets as she thought none were available as the only ones left were in the North Stand.

I can only think that stewarding costs go up dependant on the amount of people in a stand, otherwise there is absolutely no reason for the club to stagger in this manner. It'll just put people off buying as they might wait until another section they prefer opens. If it then doesn't open they might think sod it. Get people in, get their money.

Bizarre we do this, just randomly release loads of decent seats so close to KO after Row A/B etc already been sold. V annoying

Sat in C6 last couple of season's for every game.

Our group wanted to purchase a ST in the seats we have previously used but these have never shown as available to be purchased for ST's during the close season.

Now showing available to buy for the game tomorrow !

Was thinking they were being saved either for 'hospitality' or even 'players families' given they never showed for sale.

Annoyed.

I've just got back in after being at the forum meeting with the Kirk brothers. Apparently it is the police and safety group that won't allow the front rows going on sale not the club. As for the Swindon game it is almost a complete sell out with Swindon selling their total allocation of 999 tickets.

Don?t buy that at all? if the cops or safety group didn?t allow it then they wouldn?t be on sale at all. We always release them in the days before a game, don?t tell me that is someone else?s decision, there?s no rational reason.

I suppose the reason is you don?t sell them until necessary, ie , ground selling out?leave then empty if possible

The Safety Advisory Group have to allow us to sell the front row(s). This is done when the police are happy that there won't be any trouble. The Safety meeting is usually held 1-2 days before the match, which is why the tickets go on sale close to match day. Front row probably won't be on sale for the likes of Grimsby etc.
It's a hangover from people invading the pitch and the council and/police don't forget.
