Come on Tim - you agreed with my top 6 prediction this morning. I see no reason to change that. My Forest mate thought that 3 flattered them - I didn't, but the combined value of their squad has to be a few hundred million - what did you expect ?
My prediction after 90 minutes - we will be comfortable in League 2 and Forest will be bottom 6.

I expected a bit more fight we never worked their keeper. Defensively we have added no pace (Dunkley looks very slow). The fullbacks worry me and I was a bit disappointed with Madden. The only player who impressed was Boot.I am not a fan of Horton but I think he looked better than the new lad from the bristol.I am re-assessing my prediction I think bottom half. Notts finished mid table and they had Langstaff!!!

Three players were already in place for a push this season even before this summers activity..Grigg, Naylor and Jacobs?
Top 7 without doubt, and then see how it goes. Personally I?d say 2-5 place.
East stand second class citizen.

?and Wrexham released about 16, I think?.we?re at about 4|5 at most. Not targeting you in particular but the usual suspects are looking to criticise me without any foundation. And I stand by my comments about the top-heavy coaching staff. Smells of overkill in all departments. The pressure to deliver is there whatever you think

Again, I do love you mate. The whole point of your previous post was to say that Wrexham didn?t change their team much from their VNL days (and we?ve done too many) and now you?re going the other way and saying that Wrexham had wholesale changes (and we need more?) - you can?t beat it 😂

It?s nothing to do with the usual suspects targeting you ?without foundation?, it?s the usual suspects calling out your comments that lack foundation. Provide a comparison between us, Vale, MK Dons and Donny that backs up that we?re spending more than them and maybe the ?usual suspects? wouldn?t call you out.

Per their website they released 11, nearly all youths and reserve team players.
How many did we release? I know you wont carry out any research- but the answer is?9.

They used approximately 10 more players than us in their Championship season, so they had plenty of room to off load players.
You are giving your critics plenty of foundation.

Fans just need to remember we have no Devine right to win every week, it?s about supporting the team and they?ll be two teams on the pitch who for most weeks will both be trying to win.

Hoping for a playoff finish but we as a fan base have to move from a mindset of expectation to optimism.

This isn?t the national league where we should win every week.

Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Top 3 for me although I?ll still be happy when we hit the 50 points barrier.

I?d take a top 10 finish as a positive, top 7 is realistic, top 3 would be fantastic

Colchester as a dark horse this season.
A new hope.

Signed a lot of players he had at previous clubs Lincoln and Pompey - and generally ones from the south east or Essex. Localish, know each other, played for the cowleys before so will fit into the team easily

4/1 for the U to finish top 7

I don?t hide when there are things to say. I could join the sheep but there?s never any progress if everyone accepts blindly what?s thrown at them.

Apart from the signings don?t forget there?s been vast improvements to the infrastructure of the ground and the coaching staff (no don?t say this you should just turn a blind eye),

I?ll gladly hold up my arms and accept I?m wrong but it smacks of overkill for a club in L2. Can?t help getting the impression that the Kirks are being milked. Hoping I?m mistaken

A good portion of those transfers out were in Dec, Jan and Feb 2024, not last summer. So you?re not comparing like with like.
Kirks being milked is a gross insult to their integrity bearing in mind their background and career successes.

I think we?ll concede too many to be in the top 3 but I think play offs is definitely achievable.

The lads at the back from last year are good uns but prone to errors. We've got a new centre half, left back, maybe a right back in the decent trialist at Alfreton. There's still a question mark over the defence, as you imply. Will be an interesting month or so, that's for sure!

But surely it won't make any difference..... show me any league 2 defender this season from any club who won't be prone to errors. I think sometimes people's expectations are unachievable.
