If a player decides he's going, then he's going or the bottom lip gets bootlace rash. If it's county who want the deal, then I hope they haven't got a 30+ goal per season striker lined up.

They need to make sure they come out of the other side of it well or there will be discontent among the fan base. Some grumblings after the way they fell away last season then sell the main player so it will be a big first few games for County with a lot of pressure to get off to a good start.

It will be very interesting to see who they come up with. We've seen first hand what happens when you hear the immortal words, you can't stand in their way. I've a feeling they'll be adding to what they've got from this sale to bring in a replacement, unless they strike lucky, pardon the pun.

They are one of the clubs that follow the Brentford model of being very big on stats when it comes to signing players. They signed some random Gambian lad from the Norwegian 2nd division or something like that last season who looks a handful. Suspect it could be that sort of signing that follows. 70 odd goals in two seasons is a big hole to fill mind you plus they had defensive issues last season to sort as well.

Let's hope their stats go a bit awry and they end up with a dud. It may be a little easier finding reinforcements for the defence though.

I think they?ve made big strides to sort their defence out.
They?ve signed a completely new back 4 and keeper.
