Outstanding simply means stood out, which he did. Nobody listens to your views anymore you have become a running joke, which is odd because you used to be alright.

Outstanding does not mean stood out, as for your opinions on myself and your opinion on behalf of others I could not give a f***

I think you need to get hold of a Thesaurus.

He could have used prominent, noticeable, standout etc, as well as outstanding. That is how I interpreted his use of the word - the standout defender, possibly the standout player on the park.

Having said did I think he was outstanding? Not particularity
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Gordon did nothing to stand out really if he was the left back.Tthe one who really caught my attention was the right back who I thought was a trialist but was told by a young bloke that it was a youth product - Jessop. Three touches and I said to my mate he could play.
In both cases too soon to say really based on one game , but Jessop did impress, and you couldn't say that about many yesterday.

Regarding Jessop I?m not sure what the pool of players eligible for international football with Gibraltar is like but the fact he has been called up a couple of times recently suggests he has something.

Pleased to hear he played RB as I thought he was more of a winger.

If he, indeed, is capable of playing RB and comes through pre-season showing up well could he actually be an U21 cover at RB for the coming season or should we be looking further afield?

Mate, he looks a decent find, but he needs to play in more of the pre-season games. He's probably able to cover both at right full back and further forward too. It's too soon to say whether he'll breakthrough this season or not, but he certainly put his case forward yesterday.

Wiki has him at 6 foot 1. That can't be right can it?

He doesn't look that tall to be honest, but I wouldn't have a bet on it.

This says he's 5ft 9. Looks about right.

Promising. Plenty for KD to work with.

Sorry about my ignorance, but was Jessop the lad who played on the right wing in the second half? If so, he was very good, and it was noticeable he came back as the last defender when both CBs went up for corners, presumably because nobody's likely to out-run him.
If that was a triallist and not Jessop, I'd get him signed up.
Bit of a non-event otherwise, though NL seems to have got Matlock well organised, and should do well if he can find some half-way respectable players.

Yes.

God I hate this league.

Got to agree Phil, for us it was a fitness gig and avoiding some heavy lunges from the Matlock lads.
God I hate this league.

Banks was sat next to the bench so not sure why not involved , a bit lacklustre but impressed with Jessop and Dunkley

Apparently felt his groin was a bit tight if I heard Danny Webb correctly? Was doing sprint work before kick off.
