We're in the Semi Finals without us playing well and the majority of the Country want this player and that player dropped and the manager sacked!

We?re riding our luck big time, Southgate is getting out of jail with late late goals, his use of the timing of the subs is poor but it?s getting us by. Thankfully we?re through to another semi final, and hopefully some of us will have egg on our faces but let?s not try to state its his managerial nous that?s getting us this far.

Rightly so, they've been turd in pretty much all 5 games barring the odd 10 minute spell here ir there.

Two goals by class players have kept us in the tournament against mediocre/poor teams.
The luck of the draw again has papered over the cracks. Any team on the opposite side of the draw would have seen us coming home along time ago. Not because of the ability of players, but due to poor team selections, poor formations, poor/lack of substitutions and an around lack of tactical awareness in games.

But apart from that it's been amazing if you want to believe so.

This must be the worse team in terms of performance and management to reach a semi-final in a major football event ever.

Lest we forget Mercury who thinks he is an expert on everything has spent the last 4 years jizzing over the Tories and how great they are (they lost over a 100 seats?.)

Whoever we face in the semi it?s going to be a team who play at a much higher tempo and intensity than we do, be genuinely interesting how the team and Southgate respond.

Looking like the Dutch now. Turkey poor at the back.

TBF France have been turd too and they're through. They've not even scored a goal yet.

We've not played well, no one has said otherwise. However, given our progression under Southgate and his record as manager prior to this tournament, I would have expected less criticism of him and the players.

What did Paul Cook say at the Civic Reception, we might not always have it this good and it's important that we all stick together. It's as apt on a national level as it is at club level.

Fine margins!

I tend to think, like town, we could do better against the better teams.

In the NL we often struggled against teams that gave us little space, defended in depth, and broke quickly. However, when teams played more open football we looked much better, sharper, and moved the ball quicker.

Cook rarely used substitutes until after the 70th minute much to the frustration of fans galore. But, it worked. We got the job done. Let?s hope it works that way for England too.

He didn?t tend to make subs until the 70th minute because we rarely needed to, and Dorking away accepted, we didn?t often turn out the dogs do that Southgate has.

He won't change anything , he hasn't changed so far and don't expect him to shake things up now.
We need to have more shots at goal but for some reason that's not the Southgate way. As some have said it's like a Ferrari driving with the handbrake on.

He basically changed the formation yesterday??.
