I thought Serbia did well especially second half. We won with no real drama. Next game !

If you look at the stats and things like Xg which i dont really get but everyone seems to go by it these days they barely threatened us. Pickford only made one save of note and that was a pretty comfortable one that i'm not sure was going in.

And what would be the benefit of that.

Extra games.
Quality of opposition.
Injury possibility.
Police availability.
Cost.
God I hate this league.

They dont have the congested fixture calendar like UEFA\FIFA impose on football. With the combination of club and country games not sure where you can fit in.

Which bookies outside of the Uk have you checked and what odds are we?

We were favourites with most Germans from speaking to a few in Bremen on Friday night. Pretty much all said we had 3 of the best players in the world in Foden, Kane and Bellingham.

Went to the game last night too and just hope we are a slow burner. Kane chance aside we created little and Foden and Kane were very quiet. Defensively we can take positives though Guehi and Pickford were sold.

Great finish but crap from Ukraine initially to give the ball away.

Their keeper hasn't covered himself in glory at all.

There's certainly some cracking goals going in up to now, and the tournament has only just begun.

Its like they find Alexander-Arnold too long a name to be saying so take the lazy option of using Trent.

They never shortened Wright Philips though, did they? I'm trying to think of other double-barrelled names but I can't think of any at the moment.
