The obvious example being Dorking, pitch and our worse performance of the season aside, if I were their manager I’d wonder why they couldn’t replicate anything like that game all season. And of course Oldham will just crow that we couldn’t beat them regardless of our points gap with them!

The big thing this season has been our consistency….weve lost 5 games out of 39….that’s a team that knows their shizzle

There’s not been one team below us that has had any kind of consistent form..

Like you say, people step up there game against us….next game they falter! Have Dorking won since they beat us? Solihull went on a bad run after they beat us….whereas after we lost, we invariably went on a nice winning run

Despite Oldhams delusion that they were awesome to today, they’ll probably trip up in their next game

The difference, I think, is that Paul Cook has put together a squad who work together for each other and the greater good of the club. It's not about having the best left back or centre mid money can buy, but it's more about getting players to gel as a team. I think Oldham could nearly field a team of strikers and I suppose, if they don't get promoted this season,they spend heavily on more for next season. They'll probably try to pry Klopp out of semi-retirement and bring Mo Salah with him 😂.

Another interesting Marc White interview this weekend, in which he admits that his pitch is s.h.i.t; responsible for repetitive injuries to his own players and a serious injury to an opponent yesterday.

He was so critical that my conclusion is that there's going to be an announcement that it will be dug up.
