I thought it was a very poor quality game. How many offsides? Seemed to be non-stop.

If Dobra and Colclough had started I’m sure we’d have won the game but not really fussed.

After being sat behind all those empty seats due to oldhams sh..housery, 0.001% of me wants us to throw over at Halifax just to put more pressure on oldhams desperate attempts to make the playoffs

Just draining the first bottle of wine after getting home...

Reflecting on today. I reckon Cook chucked the names in a hat and let each player pick one to see if they made the team. Then said play any formation you fancy.....and 65 minutes of rubbish later realised that we should revert to 4-2-3-1 and stick 3 of the quality players out of the 5 on the bench on the pitch and restore some semblance of order!

Bizzare selection doesn't cover it. Positives were Bailey Hobson (there is something there) town fans vocal support and the other results with Barnet and Bromley.

Oooohhh and the main fact that after 6 years in total purgatory that its finally done!

The champagne will hopefully be flowing next Saturday..

PS: Despite my nerves Joe Quigley take a bow son, that penalty was total quality!!!!

Not only empty seats fiasco.
Making coaches reverse down a narrow road and then not having them in place after the game.
Then the Clown ( steward) letting cars into the mix ( mayhem).
Miraculous that no one was hurt.
Two bit organisation by GMP and OAFC
when they have a massive car/coach park.

In my humble opinion, I don't think Oldham will make the playoffs as they've just played their cup final and blew a two goal lead. Their bottom lips will have lace burns, they'll be that low 😂.

GMP can handle 8000 Geordies at the Emptiad and similar number of scousers tomorrow at OT but not another 1300 Spireites at BP ??

The big clubs being favoured again !

Perhaps taking the game to them from the start would've left us wide open for their counter attacking so Cooky thought to go with the defensive midfield and try to play the hold up game with Quigley. Hogan would've had Grigg in his back pocket all match. At least Quigley caused them some hassle.

I don’t think Grigg has been in anyone’s back pocket this season.

Bailey Hobson is a bit of unit isn't he? Very strong lad and definitely something to work with.

Was there any bother after? Lots of police about at the top of the park (and on it) and as we made our way back to the Brewers Fayre seemd to be a bit of activity. Though given the age of the Oldham lads they may have just been giving away free colouring books.
