Seems as though we want him back and he wants to come back so comes down to what Everton think is best for him. I would be amazed if they dont think we're a good place to be for him under Cook and co for another season and see where we are after that.

I think it would be a great move for all involved. He's a quality keeper and has undoubtably improved as the season has gone on.

Yep its hard to see why it wouldnt be good for him to come back. I suspect the only issue could be if Everton go down and the likes of Pickford leave meaning he is in and around the first team squad as cover...not entirely sure what keepers Everton have.

It’s becoming a bit of a pattern isn’t from opposition managers. ‘We went toe-to-toe with them, we matched them’. Unfortunately, for them, they’ve probably played out of their skins for the one match against us, whereas for us we’ve been consistently matching & beating teams all season ;-)
