A local persons been in touch re sponsorship of a future board of a not insignificant sum for whatever board we/you decided to go with if its the above proboard then fine

Which eradicates the go generous offers and go fund me pages

I see the Eastleigh Fan's Forum use a Proboard and that it's adapted for footy discussion only. Is this the way we want to go?

All this has gone very quiet since the good news on funding was announced. Has this issue now been resolved?

I kind of promoted that idea a few pages ago by setting up a test message board, just to show what could be done in a short space of time but it was mainly met with indifference as I think most preferred a more complex solution.

It would be nice if we could have an update to establish if anything is going on behind the scenes and of course what the timescales are because initially it sounded quite a pressing issue.

Edit: Perhaps it's not anymore as someone has stepped forward to fund it.

The update

As it stands we could continue as is with the fundingin place but this board version is in much need of some TLC / upgrade which due to various reasons i dont have the time to do currently

The CFSS as an entity no longer exists so who actually owns this im more of a caretaker so i new domain name would be good

I personally think a new start would be best and that needs to be up and running by June with a new andn perhaps some old names running it

Personally I am only concerned that the Spireite Debate section continues,plus I would like to see the 'In Memorium' included so that we can pay respects to fellow Spireites,after the years of suffering we all deserve that.

What a hypocrite - you are always on that section posting stuff. Although I post on that section I have to take prolonged holidays from it so personally I’m ambivalent about it but I think the danger of not having it is that the political stuff will spread to the main board

It needs moderated so I would say if the moderators want to moderate that section on a forum that works properly let them, otherwise don’t have that section.
