The only team that can stop Chesterfield FC is... Chesterfield FC.
Surely we cannot fail from this position now.

I’ve just put on Twitter that I’ve seen some food town teams, some alright ones and some awful ones but this side is something else. It’s just been a relentless assault on the national league this season. I don’t give a toss that Wrexham or county did what they did what we’ve done this season is remarkable.

Bottom interesting, 4 of bottom 5 winning today at moment, and 5th cant as they are playing one of the others. If you are in bottom 9 or 10 you might be getting nervous...
Dead right. Getting a bit tight down there. Kiddy on a roll, at least 4 other teams looking over their shoulder now

They will be pre occupied with their current plight, bottom teams putting runs together and they drop points every game.

If you have not noticed how many times this season he has tried to beat players twice and then been relieved of the ball, with a lot of our players in advanced positions,it has exposed us on quite a few occasions especially with the lack of pace we mostly have at the back, you have either not been at the games or have been blinded by your personal liking of the player.Don't get me wrong,he is full of talent,as he has shown today, but he still has much to learn and my point was not a dig at him but my opinion that today's opponents did not need a helping hand.Either PC thought the same,or total coincidence, who knows?COYB

We don’t need to lose 7, it depends how many we draw. 6 draws for example is the same as 4 defeats. It’s not so much the fact that we have only lost 3 games, but the fact that we haven’t drawn many that we are so far ahead

With good reason he has been the first name on the sheet most of the season, and the virtual Duracell Bunny non stop from first to last,it stands out more.
Hopefully he is soon back to the standard he has set ready for this business end of the season.COYB

Didn’t want to say anything myself, as noticed this for a few games now. I know he’s not been the most naturally tanned lad, but been looking really pale since illness and in the second half of the altrincham game there was a injury break second half I think or some down time he ran over to bench and noticed he had to puke into a bucket. Maybe just over thinking but hope he’s ok

Don't know if it's true but I was told it was COVID and a nasty dose. Which would point to him looking lethargic

I thought his work rate was still there, he was working as hard as anyone at the end to defend the lead, he just looked a yard slower than usual
