I see Rooney'd got the bullet at Birmingham. No suprise there.

Anyone know if the Steve Spooner taking temporary charge is the same one who played for CFC?

He should have learnt his trade alongside an experienced manager in the lower leagues first. Just because he was a brilliant player doesn't make him a great manager in waiting. I think if he's to make it in management,then he needs to be an assistant manager somewhere. I wonder if Exeter need a number two 😁😁😁.

Problem with Rooney or any top level player is that the majority or their ability is natural talent and they struggle to understand why other players can’t do it.
In addition it seems that he went into Birmingham and made wholesale changes without first assessing his players which to me says he is totally unsuitable for management
