I don't have/can't get a ticket, but I don't see why Watford should go through all the bottom ache of moving segregation barriers and extra stewarding just to accommodate a few extra hundred aways fans just for one game.

Watford’s ground isn’t very big at all. We’ve been to much bigger in league games in recent years (Charlton, Hull, Blades, Forest, Bradford etc) so in terms of option for a big allocation we’re quite restricted as it’s not a big PL ground like Chelsea’s was

Or we just know how ticket allocations work , understand that at times demand outweighs supply and sometimes people will miss out. Bigger clubs have this issue every time they travel away hence why they use a points system. Watford have given us 4000 tickets ffs, it’s not exactly a small amount.

They’ve given what they can in the stand they use for the away end….what more can they do? They aren’t going to start putting ad hoc segregation in home stands to give us more. Folk have got a bit carried away with the 5800 figure that was unofficially doing the rounds.

Not sure as of yet sure it will be announced on club social media in due course but I imagine it will be pretty soon

Agreed at this stage there's nowt to be done. The root of the problems was the announcement that we'd be getting the whole stand and folk expecting the full capacity, therefore some S/T holders waiting for general sale so they could sit with mates/family. An early announcement as to the true amount of tickets to be allocated would have made the whole situation more palatable and nipped this angst in the bud. Poor communication by a club with Premiership experience. Very soilyhull.

PS. I remember with gratitude how well a group of us were treated hospitality wise after we had played a group of Watford supporters in the morning of the main event back in '75
