Not had a reply to 2 emails this week asking if my paid 4 “free” tickets are ok so will travel up to the Club shop tomorrow to query again and hopefully collect my refund for the amount overcharged on purchase. At the minute the tickets I will present at Solihull look like they are for 4 x under 12’s so I hope someone can help!

Firstly I was told that all the Solihull tickets were designated “free” when printed so that is what was sent. It would be interesting to know if anyone has a version showing “Adult”, Concession or whatever which will differ from the explanation given. No price paid is on the tickets.
As I mentioned in a previous post, a cash refund was given of £5 per ticket overcharged. However, when I pointed out that one of the tickets that I paid £17 for is for an under 12 and therefore “free” I was told that the Club had decided not to refund any more than £5 as it was my fault I hadn’t read that I should have phoned the Club to purchase this and not bought it online.
I was disappointed to say the least as the incorrect ticket offer was the fault of the Club and given the likely demand for Solihull tickets, looking at small print was not given the time I was expected to give it.
I was told that this has happened to other ticket purchasers and the same decision passed on.
I propose to raise this with the next Fans Forum as I would like to know who has benefitted from the £12 retained - CFC or Solihull.

And these are the people in charge of 5800 Watford tickets that are pick up only. What could go wrong?

Dont encourage him, he has had the same moan on 2 threads already - despite the fact that the method being used is the one Watford have used. Hopefully he will get his ticket, can collect at Watford or get a friend who is going to pick it up for him and the job is jobbed. That's what I will have to do and I travel through Watford at least 3 times a week. It is what it is.

A guy posts who is out of pocket and basically had money stolen but you prefer to attack me rather than deal with what the guy has said. This is what I find unfathomable, you'd rather defend the club lurching from one mess up to another than call it out.

And he has posted his concern, and how he is taking it up, which all sounds very sensible, and like him I'd be a bit miffed. You just seem to be using it asnother reason to beat Croot and Co, which seems a bit unnecessary on two threads.... we get the picture from the Watford thread...

In fairness to the club on this, it was clearly stated that in order to get an U12 ticket you had to ring the club or go to the shop. I know because I was constantly ringing from 0900 to 0930 the day they went on sale to get them.
They can’t be blamed for someone not reading?

The tarpaulin roof blew off recently apparently and hasn’t been replaced.

You think they could have retrieved the tarp by now and lashed it down a bit better. I have some camping ground staples they could use if it isn’t too late; I haven’t used them in 40 years so they can keep them

I guess some stood. We sold all 1141 we were given. Though I agree probably room for another 100-200 either sitting or standing
