Sounds about right, I contacted Watford to ask when the tickets will go on sale and was told 3 weeks before the fixture.

Home or away? I'd wager that most people on my train out of London who were going were Ipswich fans... and lets be honest, not much needed to serve home fans!
As my SIL has adopted Chesterfield now he lives there (and takes 2 of my 3 grandsons..) but is an Ipswich fan by birth... come on Ipswich! Tractor derby on Saturday too I believe..

They’ll have been on sale for a while and from what Pete was saying earlier in the thread talks about prices etc have already happened. All we need from Watford is numbers and the tickets then we’ll be selling them anyway.

Looked 2/3rds full at best - not great considering the away following. Not much of a payday for us with these ‘reported’ price reductions

I think they should just to be safe. Plenty of time to sort so have a few days with priority to season ticket holders then go from there. Saves any issues. We took 6000 to Chelsea and folk were moaning about not getting them if I remember correctly. Not quite the same pull I know.

Wasn’t that the game that everyone was rushing to buy online immediately and caused near collapse of the ticket system with loads of transactions going awry.

As you say, not the same pull but might prevent similar although we’d then get the usual moans

I guess it was never going to be.

Looking at their stadium midweek, it was rather sparsely populated so god knows have many of them would bother turning up at anywhere near full price

Yes they went on general sale at midnight and there were issues. I got “charged” twice although the phantom one just sorted itself out.
