If you knew what day and date it was, yes.

And by the comments on here of folk saying it had let them buy a ticket but they aren’t ST holders, folk were fully aware of the fact they were purchasing tickets outside the sales window for non ST holders.

To be fair, it’s not affecting me at all but I don’t buy the line of people buying tickets in good faith now being refused the sale. They knew they weren’t eligible for a ticket at that point but took advantage of a fault in the system.

Fair play if they get away with it but don’t start crying about it if they don’t.

There have been issues with the Solihull tickets from the start and our ticket office have again not covered themselves in glory.I have 4 season tickets for a family purchase and when they first went on sale I bought all 4 but there was no option for under18’s or under 12’s so paid full whack only then find out that I had been overcharged by £22 in total. Not to worry I thought, the club announced that cash would be refunded on collection and I collected them on Saturday from the club shop in the usual envelope. Perhaps I should have checked, but when I got home I found that all 4 tickets weren’t tickets at all but A4 sheets with QR codes printed on them. They also said that each ticket was free and I presume printed off for 4 x under 12’s which we are definitely not. Also, no cash in the envelope for a refund.I emailed the club when I got home to point out the above and I am waiting for a reply as I post this message. Living in Newark, I can’t just pop round to sort it out in the shop although the Aldershot game will give me a chance of not having to make an 80 mile round trip to sort it out.Come on CFC, we can and should do better.

I have had the same problem with Leyton Orient and Southport tickets, bought for myself and brother-in-law,both season ticket holders, both pensioners. No concessions shown for either game in my account.First e-mail to ticket office once I found concessions were available was on the 14th.November,follow ups sent.As of today no response to any.Sent an e-mail to the forum address, acknowledgement received.Still awaiting response. The club have been getting my money now for 65 years so,yes,I agree not good enough.

Presumably in most circumstances they will sell direct to away fans who just get the same thing via email to use on their phone or print themselves. At the risk of riling up town fan it’s one where demand exceeds allocation so we will have requested that we sell them ourselves in theory to coordinate season ticket holder first dibs etc even if we did mess that up.

For clarification all the Tickets allocated to us for the match at Solihull have been taken up by season ticket holders so none are going on general sale.

We requested and were granted extra tickets but all 1141 have gone.

Some of the later tickets did initially go on sale without the restrictions for season tickets. This was corrected when spotted. At the supporters forum I said that we could identify these tickets but meant that as a means of checking what had gone wrong. All sales will be honoured.

Due to a simple typo the U18 tickets were priced incorrectly but this was corrected. We opted for a cash refund as the costs of low-level transactions by card refund are prohibitive. We did not put the refunds in with tickets as leaving envelopes with cash just inside the shop was not a good idea. All collections in the week have been from reception to facilitate the refund. People can still claim the refunds.

For U12 sales we made it clear that these had to be done face-to-face (including telephone). The later tickets released were those held back to facilitate these sales as well as those to supporters with disabilities needing PA tickets.

Thanks for the clarification, hopefully stops some of the wild comments, 1141 is a decent number.

Thank you for the clarification. Was there any comms about the extra tickets we received above the initial allocation? I remember seeing 600-700 allocated but not the 1,141.

Where did you see an announcement about 600-700? We were trying to establish a maximum number up until the point they went on sale.

Adam Collins is a brilliant and supportive partner but I expect his information was via their DFO which would be indicative. I do not know whether we ever stated a figure.

From memory the initial offer was 770 which was negotiated up to the final figure.

As the tickets are print-at-home style that were emailed to us (and including standing) we didn't sell to a stadium plan. This means there will always be issues with the exact numbers once you envelope more than 1000 bits of paper.

Matches like WBA and Watford are sold to specific seats to allow complete control and reprints where tickets are lost.

Any idea on a date for Watford tickets?

I wanted to set the record straight on the Solihull tickets and don't see this as the forum for club information.

However we have agreed prices with Watford (very cheap) and that we have to sell paper tickets for the game.

It will be season ticket holders first and we would like to have the tickets on sale this week.

Thanks Pete, you’re doing a top job.
Some on here just like to moan for moaning’s sake, they’re not how 99% of us feel so hope you don’t take anything to heart.

Was definitely more than 700 on sale initially and we definitely put more on later on. I logged on at 9am and was 700 odd terrace tickets and 250 seated available

It says it all about Solihull that we have to negotiate with them at all about it. One of the rare chances for them to more than quarter fill that tin shed of a ground and they feel the need to make us grateful for it.
