wasnt the delay down initially to a faulty wire but then further delays because some passengers decided to release themselves and walk along the tracks - meaning when the problem was solved other trains couldnt be released?

funnily enough I was in Maidenhead today, but took the car not the train or tube!

Reads as though it was an issue at Paddington station and because the line uses some of the infrastructure at that station it was affected.

Caused by Overhead power lines failing on great western network rail infrastructure.


Response from Lizzy line was poor. Second train sent to pull the stranded train got stuck, poor response to detrain passengers.
