That’s one of the great things about these results being available within the next half century, in 2066 if I turn out to be wrong, I’ll apologise to everybody.

I’ll probably be dead by then. Maybe don’t post til the facts are out?

Cringy stuff.

He was constantly forcing postive policy but no one was listening, others were blocking him and everything that went wrong was everyone else's fault.

Oh, and he's no liar 'cos it's all them calling him a liar who're the real liars. So nerrr.

Pathetic egotist - who I'm sure refers to himself as 'Superman-cock' - who should recieve a prison sentence rather than the knighthood one crank advocated...

Boris, along with Whitty the outstanding witnesses, not there to knife anyone, not there to score brownie points or ruin anyone, taking responsibility and explains the difficulty all governments found them selves in.

So what've we learned.

The bloke with his hands on the nuclear codes didn't know how to work his phone.

Nor did he think highly important COBRA meetings happening weekly were worth his attention.

Nor did he bother looking at SAGE reports - the 'E' stands for 'emergency' - more than a couple of times.

Nor does he recognise the long list of facts challenging his revisionism.

On the other hand Alexander Boris DePheffle Johnson is pretty much proving what pretty much every witness thus far has portrayed: a chaotic and contratictory individual unconcerned with details who ran an equally chaotic, contradictory and detail light government. In fact his flippant attitude towards the enquiry is every bit the naughty Etonian schoolboy saying whatever he thinks he needs to say to smirkingly get away with it all over again.

As one of the many bereaved family members - whom he of course cowardly dodged by arriving uncharacteristically early - so accurately commented, his entire testimony is as hollow as the cynical non apology with which he began...

His only defence for this entire shambles is that he was thick.

He was Prime Minister.

UK politics are worse than 3rd world politics, they’ve got an excuse as they’re poor and uneducated, yet we had Boris who had the best education money could buy and look what he did with it, absolutely pathetic.

What with the above **** show and the royal **** show I’d say Russian and North Korean politics are in a better state than ours, at least their leaders aren’t thick as mince.

Now the government, and posters in here were told to follow the science. Yesterday Chris Witty admitted that at the start the danger of Covid to the general public at large may have been over stated!
Which opposition leader at the time wanted longer and more draconian lock downs?

Thank you for reminding everyone of the gross and mindless hypocrisy of those wringing their hands ragged over what might happen to pensioners this winter...

..after all but sacrificing them to Covid in pursuit of lockdown lifting...

What he actually said was that he is still worried wether we went too far at the start or not far enough

Nah this lot are doing it knowingly. Despicable. Anyhow how?s that 2017 report going on. The one where Labour said cutting the WFA for pensioners would result in 4000 excess deaths. And fuel prices have rocked since then. Thoughts?

I have never agreed with cutting wfa as I have said before. That said the official number of care home residents who died with COVID between march 2020 and April 2021 stands at 39017. That was after the ring of steel comments. So they were aware of the threat but chose to ignore it

I hate Boris Johnson with a passion but he actually never wanted to lock down, he bottled it totally based on terrible advice and the later realisation what a cash cow the whole shambles was , imagine a virus so deadly that brought a world to a standstill that actually hasn?t had its origin investigated .

No, sorry, I'm not gonna ignore this latest2 childishly trite response as I usually do.

You thought you were being clever. You thought you were being smart. You thought you were cheerleading the little gang of Labour haters.

But all you've really done is underline, with neon bright marker, their next level hypocrisy.

First of all you either misunderstood or misquoted (to be generous) what Witty actually said. Which was he still isn't sure if they overreacted OR UNDERREACTED at various stages of the Pandemic.

Then, as previously stated, your zeal to sneer has reminded everyone of what you and others actually said about Covid. How you and they dismissed it. How you and they derided those advocating caution. How you and they demanded the premature lifting of lockdowns designed, in large part, to protect the very pensioners you and they are now shedding so many cynically performative tears over.

How you and they continued championing the 'let the bodies pile high' characters responsible for knowingly - KNOWINGLY - cramming senior citizens into infected care homes.

It's called being 'hoist by your own petard'.

Then seen this? Trigger warning - it's more of that pesky evidence stuff that's so often humiliated you before.

https://news.sky.com...he-sky-13222465

So can anyone contributing to this topic get anywhere near matching his qualifications? Did anyone put their lives on the line as he and hundreds of thousands of others did? Was anyone forced to join them facing a killer virus lacking basic PPE?

No?

But hey, it's still okay to insult those that did. It's still okay to peddle anonymous smears. It's still okay to believe some attention seeking crank on some tinfoil hattery website rather than the actual World Health Organisation.

And, of course, it's still okay to now accuse them of not deserving worthwhile pay rewards 'cos something-something pensions, something-something unions, something-something 'holding the country to ransome'.

I'd suggest those doing so watch the video and feel a sense of shame. However shame quite clearly left their particular buildings with the first defence of 'Boris'...
