Seven nil at the end, to a side managed by Evatt. But, Caldwell sometimes texts the blokes on the podcast, so he’s okay. Hwaaah, hwaaah, hwaaah, cough, cough, Muttley laugh etc.

What’s that now, 12 losses in 14 games?
A new hope.

He's writing a book this season, 'How to turn a team challenging at the top into relegation fodder in 5 easy lessons!'
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Caldwell would be hard pressed to win this league with the Man City squad. God knows how he keeps getting a job, I really don't. How do those running clubs keep getting taken in by him when they're far from easily had by anyone.

Think the realisation is setting in at Exeter

Wigan fans warned us
We warned Partick fans
Partick fans warned Exeter fans

There comes a point when you have to accept fans generally know what they are on about.
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Caldwell is weird old character who believes his own hype…. I was with my mate who was his first team coach at Wigan in the lounge before his first game. Asked my mate for advice…he said, just keep the same team for 4-5 games as they’ve not been performing too bad….

Completely changed the formation & team….the rest is history…..probably ranks as one of the worst managers in our history

He talks a good game, a bit like Suanders. And we've had the displeasure of both due to incompetants running the club. Thank goodness those days have gone of dreary football and the promised land is not far away thanks to the best manager in the national league.

Taxi for Caldwell, even though he's finally picked up some points, however these are on his driving licence, enough to see him banned again for six months, as he was when he joined us, as he still lives in Alderley Edge this isn't helpful

He’s a total fraud who knows what to say.

The legacy he leaves behind, or rather the disaster he leaves clubs in does not at all figure in his thinking.

He’s a football version of a narcissist dictator of a country who’s leaves them in social and economic ruin in exile.

But unique to football he’s given another chance. Wigan. Chesterfield. Pattick. And now Exeter

I honestly can’t believe Exeter were so so stupid to be taken in by him.
A new hope.

Their away form isn't great, but up against a Caldwell team in Caldwell form. It's too big a price to miss

5/2 now on Skybet for Shrewsbury, think I’ll have another dabble.

Is that rate? They are playing a centre back regularly up front? Like not as a last 10 minute throw of the dice in pure desperation but as an actual starter?
