Who’s the barnacle? Carson?

I think he means John Croot, his opinion of him is very low (its probably reciprocated, too)

Looks like tickets are selling at a steady rate. Hopefully 7000 to 8000. Nice little revenue earner again for the club.

at £15/£8 it wont make the club that much once running costs, VAT and the FA have been paid out. (less LO's half!)

Split two ways...

Wasn’t it 45% of gate receipts to both teams with 10% to the “Pool” ?

Nothing to the FA?

Only 5% of gate for replayed matches before 3rd round nothing for initial games. From 3rd round 10% goes to FA with 45% to each team except if one is non-league when they gate 50%.

Guessing the split goes 10% FA, 50% NL Team & 40% League Team or the FA reverts back to 5% if it's a NL team.

Every little helps, don’t forget the FA is run by a committee who run the local working men’s club 5 days a week. I guess it covers expenses claims

Given most of us would've taken a respectable exit at the hands of a Pompey topping the table two above ours', surely anything and everything we make next week is just bonus....?

I bet you remember our meeting with Millwall for the 2-2 draw in October 75 don't you Andy? The Millwall fans all left the Cross Street end a few minutes before the final whistle and we thought they were probably leaving early to make sure they caught their

train back to London. We were wrong and as we were exiting the kop end onto Saltergate they had come down Compton Street and St. Margarets Drive and caught us in a pincer movement and it was mayhem. My abiding memory of it all was seeing a little lad who must have only been around 8 or 9 years old sitting on the little wall behind the corner sandwich shop bleeding profusely from his nostrils and a gash over one of his eyes. His dad was trying to tend to him when one of the Millwall lot took a running kung fu type kick into the bottom of the dads back. I will always remember what that animal looked like and what he was wearing. It was a black and white 10 pin bowling shirt with "F Troop" embroided across the back.
I had parked my car on the doughnut that day and as I tried to make my way down Saltergate to it there were running battles all the way down. I then saw the same youth in the bowling shirt kicking 7 bells out of a town fan in front of the Haslam and Harvey statues outside the mineworkers offices. From what I remember the police didn't seem to want to get too involved in sorting it out. I was so pleased when I got home that day.

I remember this game I think it could be about 75 I was walking past the sandwich shop and the Millwall lads came down past the stand! It was my first taste of mass football violence but didn't put me off going

They must be with that allocation otherwise they’ll be passed the divide in the East stand and have the majority of seats.
