No Colclough in the starting line up? Is he carrying a small injury?

I don't know, but I did think he wasn't quite as explosive as usual when he came on v Kettering. He caused problems for the defenders, but I can't recall him bursting past them and leaving them standing as he usually does. Can't be anything too bad though, or he wouldn't be on the bench.

Didn’t think we’d rest Colclough for 2 games in a row

Well he might have a knock but even so it's sensible.
Their main threat is from set pieces and long throws so Freckleton is much more use defensively and we'll have plenty of threats even without Horton.

Very much a gamble starting the three on bookings IMHO. Whilst I get the 'lose today and a win against Barnet matters less' thinking, I'd take the view that a win is easier today without those three in the side than it would be to win v Barnet if they are suspended for that game.

Hopefully this is not a mistake on Cook's part.

Agreed I thought he was excellent on Tuesday night.

Particularly when attacking as he looks to get an early cross in. He may have picked up a knock or be ill though and at the end of the day whoever Cook selects will do the job as we have far more quality than Kiddy...

horton was excellent but maybe the thinking here is freckleton offers us a bit more defensive cover away from home. I am nervous about naylor's card count and wouldnt want him to miss the barnet game.

No point trying to double guess what happens next . Arguably the game against Southend is tougher that the Barnet game. it’s not like we haven’t got replacements with Naylor probably being the most irreplaceable of the three

Liam, your support and reporting of Club matters is second to none and it’s great to have you connected as you are. I know I have said this before, but the DT links are virtually unreadable in their present format which I know generates very valuable income for the paper. However, and I know from looking at other local newspapers online the same applies, but the number of scrolling ads showing at any given time surely can be reduced a bit so that readers like me don’t just give up after a few minutes and the reporting experience is not tainted by such a plethora of unwanted and irrelevant ads like those being plugged.Rant over, please keep up the excellent work from your good self.

Absolutely. Frustratingly unreadable. I've given up.
