Hidden amongst the chaos of HS2

'It also emerged that neither Sir Patrick nor Professor Sir Chris Whitty, England’s chief medical officer, were consulted by Rishi Sunak, then chancellor, over his restaurant discount plan Eat Out To Help Out before it was announced in the summer of 2020.

Sir Patrick and Sir Chris say in their witness statements that “had they been consulted, they would have advised it was highly likely to increase transmission”, inquiry KC Hugo Keith revealed.'

Some might say that the HS2 teasers over the past week or so and today's HS2 decision by Sunak show him and his government in a bad light; some might say that by manufacturing a big HS2 story Sunak has created a useful distraction at a time when his role in the government's mismanagement of Covid would otherwise be front and centre in some areas of the media.

Of course Whitby would have opposed EOTHO, he’d probably have us in masks now with the new variant

Many on here, including regular Labour bods, quite rightly praised Sunak for the scheme. And you’re right Whitley or whatever his name was, would have had us all living in the dark ages, along with KS, for many many more months than we actually were.

Didn’t you yourself praise the eat out to help out scheme? And didn’t you champion KS wanting to continue with draconian measures when the country was crying out to return to some sort of normality?

Hmmmm…..what to say?

Eat out to help out but wear your mask when you go for a slash and take it back off again when you sit down to consume your scran and quaff your vino.

Just following the science though.

Now science was never my favourite subject at school I have to admit and I did have a tendancy to switch off, but I recall the one where we put some sulphuric acid in a test tube and held it over a bunsen burner, but never the one where we concluded that deadly viruses hung around in toilet corridors but then dicipated around dining tables.

Cool science is that 👍🏻

I haven’t been Dave, but if I could take an educated guess, is it about that joker Johnson being at “death’s door” because he contracted “Covid” (flu/cold in the real world) but so shi* scared of it was he (after nearly dying 🤣🤣🤣) he threw a party in his garden with his missus and new born baby in harm’s way.

I don’t know where to start if you believe that.

No, it's about the contents of the Sue Gray report.
Johnson is a pervert.

Eat out to help out lol

Partygate lol

Most of you lot were victims to the biggest scam in the history of mankind.

Kudos to all the strong people who thought for themselves, ignored lockdowns and did what the f*** they liked.

With what’s coming out in that enquiry at the moment I’d say that 90 % of the posters on this thread are brainwashed imbeciles.

Wonder how many cretins are gonna fall for that next lot of boosters.

PS what happened to the flu 😂

So these people are victims but you really seem to hate them too. Do you often find yourself hating victims?

Can you please show me where I said I HATE people.

You maybe need to read peoples posts properly before you reply pal, I noticed in Spireite Debate 2 days ago thanks to your crass comments you upset a fellow Spireite who’d lost a child with a ‘clever’ remark because you were unable/unwilling to read properly what they’d typed and doesn’t make you look half as clever as what you think it does.

Fact is I’ve read this thread from top to bottom and I’d say it’s a pretty fair barometer of who knows what they’re talking about, who talks complete bollux and who can’t read and understand posts properly.
