The early booking sent out the right messages unlike the clown on Tuesday who failed to caution for obvious cautionable offences sending out all the wrong messages.
On that incident maybe he could have held off the whistle for a moment as I thought Grigg had broken free and had an opportunity, but the caution was spot on.
It was good to see a new ref not looking like a rabbit in the headlights.
One for the future 🤞

My MOM, once again, Mandeville. In spite of playing through a heavy knock.
Mike Jones for me.
His positional sense and general awareness is superb, as is his use of the hall.
He’s a huge player for us

It's all getting a bit pathetic with the standing ovation for who-knows-what. If we can't manage a minutes silence for people important to the club who've died it would probably be best to just announce the bad news and leave fans to remember in their own way.
We could also lose the "Stand up if you're a spireite" and "Stand up if you hate Mansfield". I'd rather watch the game than the bloke in front's back. Loud is good, antics like standing up are not.

Every time. Eight out of ten performances week in and week out. All we need from him is a goal, but he seems to hate shooting.
On the subject of Banks, I'm reserving judgement. He certainly has a habit of slowing things down, which I don't like but the coaching staff perhaps do, and his defending leaves a lot to be desired. Good range of passing most of the time, but nothing out of the ordinary. It'll be good to have Naylor back for Rochdale, and take a bit of weight off Jones, who needs a bit of TLC if he's facing two games a week.

Maybe he’s only doing very light training and most of it is recovery/rehab in the week.

Jones for me too, and a lot of what he does goes unnoticed. As you said, he knows where the ball's going before the player releasing it has even decided where to put it. He's vocal, he wants the ball, and I wish he was a few years younger. For me, give him a one year extension to his contract at Christmas.

Lifelong fan. South Stand S1 disabled area. Confined to a wheelchair. Always had a smile. Steven Greaves. Died aged 40.
Most regulars would have recognised him.
Nothing pathetic about honouring his passing IMHO.
Word was passed around on Facebook's Kop Choir group.

Definitely pal, absolutely bang on.
We should recognise fans commitment to the club.
We’ve had some hard times lately and there’s no doubt this fella stuck with the club through those times.
It’s a real shame he’ll not see us back in the football league.
Abled or disabled we are ‘ Town arnt we ‘…

Christ, even if you have no idea who it's for it's not hard to work out why people are likely clapping none stop for a minute. it's not a novel concept

None of us had any idea either, everybody was just looking at each other asking what was going on! It was the same before the Dagenham game when we had a minute's applause before the game for somebody that none of us had ever heard of , I thought they only did that before a game if a player or manager had passed away , still no idea who it was for .

I felt most players were on a par and contributed both good and bad. Mandeville was relatively quiet at times but showed alertness for his goal. Berry showed naivety and calmness. Jacobs scored a great goal but faded in and out of the game. None of the subs impacted proceedings much but Quigley did get involved and on another day might have had a couple of goals. I really like Jones but he still frustrates me when he gets close to the opponents penalty area and I really want him to join our long list of goal scorers nevermind have a shot.
However, my MOM was King who brought a worldie from their keeper with his first free kick and showed some good attacking intent throughout whilst looking a bit more like his old self. Hope he can keep it up now and find the consistency required.
