No because as its already shown, IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.

Will be the same people discussing the same isdues and nothing gets done as noone wants upset their cushty numbers with the club.

You're having a laugh if the trough sniffers in the board room care what the rabble think. Its all a mirage. Community club my bottom. It's more Animal Farm the football club version.

Blah. So no to all of it?

Not all the same people though. Being on the forum gets you….nothing. Just giving your time up voluntarily for the good of the club. New broom and all that.

But you won’t believe that as you’re an oppressed rabble who wants to moan on here rather than do anything about it.

If you watch that video you'd assume we have no fans under the age of 40/50. Seems like a box ticking exercise rather than a reflection of all fans.

No that’s true, nor did I say that. However I am interested if people took up the opportunity to join in and do something about issues.

Surely you see the point?

The young twenty somethings don't do round table face to face meetings any more. They want to interact using technology and social media. They think email and wait to discuss it, is from the past.

More of them than ever go to the gym, and care about what they eat. They also make up a large proportion of our fans.

The forum is available on YouTube for all ages to watch and participate in.

Suggestions to increase their participation gratefully received.

You'll get more participation from the younger demographic if you're pushing it to them in places they'll see it and interact with it.

Think the email works fine but you'll do better with a webform on the website somewhere (if it loaded properly), and the representatives to filter out what's important for discussion.

Feel like unless you're willing to listen to a 90m recording there's also a lack of visibility, would be good if all the questions put to the club are documented and what the club has said back. Heard a lot of 'We'll look into that' in the recording but there's nothing to hold them accountable.

Just some ideas.

Good idea re promoting via other platforms. Thank u.

The meetings are documented, minuted and published with the clubs responses shown. Phil Tooley does that on here. As the meeting was Thursday and meeting the club today I’d anticipate publication next week (as it’s a voluntary position).

My time is very limited with work, two young children etc but if you are looking for someone under 40 to join in happy to throw my name in and see if I can find time to be involved

Will Phil attend today's meeting then, or does he have to wait for feedback (on this occasion from the CEO)?

I watched, and tried to concentrate but the sound and picture quality was poor.

On the first item, I think it was a proposal that anybody buying a seat on an organised bus trip away should be entitled to a match ticket before ST holders, so that their purchase is guaranteed rather than provisional. It's summat I'd support, but it wasn't clear either what the detail of the proposal was or how it would be progressed.

And on the East Stand discussion, I was slightly bewildered that the Executive response to the closure of turnstiles problem was that he didn't know about it. Neither, by the way, did he know how many new ST holders there are, which might lead to teething problems today. Fingers crossed.

That’s one of the absolute shittest ideas I’ve seen suggested so far. Talk about lack of younger representation, that’s one way to alienate them

I went to 20/23 away games in the league + Wimbledon and West Brom and not once did I travel on organised transport and I know many my age and younger are similar.

I sincerely hope we are not thinking about doing something so silly as that as annoying exiles, people who travel via train, car or go to the effort sorting their own private coaches as I and friends have done and have planned for Aldershot and Maidenhead already.

Don't panic. Let's see what the minuted action is. It wasn't easy to cotton on to the gist.

At this mornings meeting all suggestions/proposals were passed on to Dr. Paul Stankard and Peter Whiteley.
They will all be brought to the attention of the full board and all other relevant persons.
All responses and actions will be made public.
Regards.
Nigel.

It's not this was an open session for anyone to attend

Every fan no matter what age has the opportunity to attend every meeting on the first Thursday every month.

Hi Tom, it was a comment made by a fan attending but there is no suggestion by the Club, or the forum, that this is something that should be pursued. Falls at the first hurdle anyway as priority for away tickets is for season ticket holders where allocations are limited, cheers Paul.

Cheers Paul, glad to hear it! Sounded a bit further down the line in Dims post than that! Agree it will never work, for various reasons
