Oldham could become a bit of a problem, especially if they sign Dallas. I like them as a club they’re a bit like us and wish them well but not this season.

They’ll be a threat in the coming season, probably the biggest…but I still think they will still be in that period of non league life ‘adjustment’
Ourselves, County & Wrexham have shown improvement after improvement in 3 years after a sustained period of ‘the scalp’. I think we deal with that now…more so with the quality of the squad Cook has put together.
Oldham will definitely get top 7 this season…hard to think of any other sustained challenger next season to us…and that not with a bias tinge of rose tinted glasses

Just said the same to my nate. If we don’t sign him I’d rather him not be at our (most likely) main rivals. Get him gone to league 2 please 😁

Oldham would be a strange one for him unless they are throwing a load of cash at him. He always seemed set on joining a league club with us being a possible exception based on him appearing to have really enjoyed his time with us and us being well in the race to be promoted this season.

That said its a fair old trek from being spotted by folk fixing roads in Gillingham to get up to Oldham....

Many of us appreciate what you do tell us Kev and appreciate that we should not take it as gospel so I wouldn't worry. Still say we are in a strong position regarding Dallas then?

Absolutely stinks of his agent leaking this to try and force up their demands and get Town to pay up.

By all accounts - Dallas is keen, but the constant back and forth and requests for money via his agent are something else. As I understand it we aren't keen to cough up on these agents fees etc that are being demended

Nothing against Oldham but I think we’d need some sort of implosion at our end to hand them the league title, and that’s not being arrogant. They will finish top 5, but they look at least 2 seasons behind us squad and preparations wise.
