And, we only have Sheckleford, Williams, Maguire, Horton, Whelan, Hobson, Rowe, Quigley, Asante, Gyasi, and the 4 young 'uns just signed their first professional contracts.

Discounting the latter 4, it seems we have a squad of 22 players but no goalkeepers yet whilst we are looking to add another quality striker.

Naylor is certainly going to shake things up so summat's got to give.

Just reading about Guardiola's thinking on defensive midfielders. He says that you only need one as a second man gets in the way, stunting creativity. The chosen man has to be top notch, dictating play. And it looks like we've got him.
We might evolve into a 4-1-1-3-1 formation.
