Even better of him to do a bit of posing on the boundary. He should have took a straight forward catch of Came but disided to look smart by releasing the ball stepping over the boundary (when he didn't have to) and then failing to reclaim the ball. Poser😄

If you leave the forum loaded after posting when you go back to it later it sometimes reloads the page and posts again.

Saw that on the stream, thought he was going to carry it over as he lost his balance but he made a mess of the throw back up.

Not convinced he was in danger of losing his balance. Going for the spectacular, imo.

A curates egg of an innings but it could not have been an easy wicket to bat on with us restricting northants to 156 and we managed to get over the line in the last over
Reece is struggling in the poweplay and to send Ali in that early against the moving ball was madness imo
Onto a big test at Old Trafford on Friday night now but that lost point from the tie against Durham could be crucial at the end of the day
Thanks for telling us 3 times mate 🤣

Surely you should be on your fellow Yorkie boards debating or do they exist because I have no idea

You really don’t help yourself do you. Stop taking everything so seriously. Why do you over react to things on here.

Do yourself a favour and walk away, I'm allowed to take the mick as I'm a town fan with skin in the Derbyshire game despite being a pudding, I'd mention that my late Grandfather (and father of my uncle Geoff Miller) was not a Derbyshire fan either, he was a Lanky!

All this started because Westbars didn’t read a two line post correctly. Shame really.
I only came on here to have a discussion about cricket and the Drew Talbot testimonial.
As For my Derbyshire links. Well I live in Chesterfield and was offered a trial with Derbyshire when I was younger but I had my nose broken whilst playing in the nets and never went. Probably my biggest regret and I haven’t had too many.
Just think I could have been Whittman’s hero 😁

Right on cue another failed attempt to think you are winding me up by somehow bringing me into a story about part your life story lol
No doubt if the Puddings had beaten the Bears last night I reckon you would have made a comment about that but as your ailing team suffered another defeat you try another tact to try and wind me up lol
i could go on but there are more pressing things to deal with today

Our bowling is decent especially the quick bowlers but batting wise you fear for us unless Madsen or Du Plooy gets some. Thats the difference between us and some of the bigger counties that have better squad depth and it is what is unfortunately.
Was quite amusing seeing some bitter Yakshire fans whining in responses to stores about Du Plooy getting us over the line the other night after he helped beat them in the 2nd team thing the other week.

For sanity's sake let him have the last word. Let's face it, like most deedah proclamations it'll be loud but totally meaningless

I don't think they appreciate we only have a professional squad of 20, assuming all are fit. I don't think he should played in it personally anyway.

I suspect had it been in the DCCL we'd have been done under the spirit of cricket stuff that they like to trot out but as you say had we stuck to non first teamers we wouldnt have been able to field a 6 a side team! There was however probably a case for someone else playing instead of him but hey ho.

I think that is a sound bit of advice and statement to be honest Clarevoyant
as a fellow Town and Derbyshire fan/sufferer you also understand that his general mentality means that he will never get it lol
Onto tonight and hopefully another victory although this is also a difficult one but I have seen us win at Old Trafford in the past but I have also seen us lose heavily as well
One Sunday afternoon T20 defeat springs to mind when I was back at home at roughly the same time as the scheduled finish of the match lol
