It's not really offensive is it, just downright awful looking and £40 haha.

The fact they've disabled comments shows they know it's not a great idea.

It’s not offensive at all- just can’t imagine anyone buying it?
I guess they’ve paid for an order and are determined to get some money back on it…..

Love to see it. Sticking with it through the storm, great perseverance

In all seriousness, anyone actually offended by the fact it is a Union Jack needs to step outdoors a little bit more. Some people going way OTT

It's not a matter of being offended. They look heinous.

Trouble is if we don't all buy them they're going to be draped all over the club shop for all visitors to see. Any chance our former press officer from c2009 could buy a handful?

I'd love to speak to whoever ordered a large order of these. Especially with all the good stuff coming out from the retro kits why not do something more bespoke than just a union jack with a CFC badge slapped in the middle.

No wonder we’re losing money if someone’s signed off an order of these

the clubs idea of chest is strange as that's where the badge is apparently.

if you saw one on skeggy market youd be tempted to buy it for a laugh as its a right del boy offering.

I'm torn between wanting to reclaim the Union Flag from the fascist Right, and wanting to see the reaction over the motorway to Ben Bradley and 30p Lee wearing one.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

The design is horrendous, it's a cheap effort that badly lacks any sort of imagination and expertise. Let's hope the licensing advance is considerable because I don't envisage seeing many of our fans draped in one of those.

just seen the union jack shirt advertised on the town fb site.
Christ they may as well wave the white flag & surrender to match winner.
truly awful.

I absolutely hate whoever is in charge of our social media accounts. After getting away with the tweet early Saturday morning they must of had a board meeting and thought it a great idea to re-upload today with the comments turned off. Our social media team and whoever is making the decisions is making the club look as tinpot as possible and has been doing a few years now.

Whether its cringeworthy posts, making the club look silly or ridiculous stuff like this god awful shirt with a badge slapped in the middle for £40 it has to stop. For all the good happening at the club we are constantly being dragged through the mud via our online presence time and time again.

Sick to death of it - Get this person sacked or whoever is making the decisions sacked in reference to stuff like this. Feel sorry for the Kirk’s, they must think what an earth are they thinking…I can’t imagine they have signed off for these shirts.

wow, a lot of anger for some social media stuff and a shirt that some may or may not like....

I doubt the person in charge of social media will have chosen the shirt, they will just be told to post some activity around the stock that needs shifting. And who knows what will sell in terms of clothing, and who should be choosing it? We have a retail unit and if I asked 20 people about what it should stop stocking I'd get 20 different answers.....

That shirt isnt for me but then a lot of the stuff in the shop isnt for me!

I met a group of rangers fans in Zante 2006 ish (can’t remember to be exact) and have kept in touch. Have been messaged by a few of them about this asking if I can buy and send them up so definitely might have appeal for that market. Can’t see any issues with it tbh good chance to raise our profile in the same way as Wrexham are doing with USA etc

Its not just about this shirt its a culmination of things over the last two years and this just tops it off for me, Can’t stand whoever runs our social media accounts.

I’m sure they had no say in tweeting about this shirt but its other things like tweets from the clubs official account late at night/early morning for example when the person is clearly intoxicated that you would see from someone’s personal account not from someone representing the football club.

Some people on here will get exactly what I’m taking about if you use Twitter a lot but if not my posts my not make much sense.

It gets worse, they've tweeted the union jack shirt back out with comments disabled

Comments disabled, all rather interesting given the new Supporters Forum and the Club's commitment to supporter engagement and welcoming feedback!

If we see legions of Rangers fans running about in union jack miniskirts, we'll know who to blame!

They’re good lads so will do it for free apart from some beer money maybe for the coronation of King Charles. Does anyone have a contact for the club shop as seems there might be 10+ to send so need to check if they can post direct to Scotland maybe to save them having to post me the money down
