Robinson has been sacked by Oxford, after 8 games without a win.
Imagine that. 8 games winless. That must feel horrible.

The utterly hapless Liam Fox has left the utterly hapless Dundee United (captain our former loanee Ryan Edwards).
These go to eleven.

The revolving door at Watford is spinning again, Bilic out Wilder in. Do they use that thing as air conditioning?

the madness of football continues, unless there is something we don't know behind the scenes but from a pure football point of view this is yet another short term view, poor run and gone

Half way through March and not won this year...last won on New Years Eve and if you go back further only 2 wins since the beginning of November. 11 points from 45 in that time and now only three points above relegation. With the money involved clubs fear dropping out of the Premier League and to be honest i can think of a few other clubs where he would have gone a while ago.

ok fair point i suppose but kinda reminds me in a way of when a certain club sacked danny wilson, having lost what was it 7 in a row or something but weren't even still in the relegation zone at that point and we all know how a change of manager at that point turned out, palace aren't in the relegation zone either, feels like a roll of the dice in some ways.

Yeh not saying I agree with it but you can see why they did it. You can guarantee a good cross section of fans were calling for his head on their forums.

i'm sure you're right jon, i think for me clubs have to decide what they want... after hodgson's retirement it looked like palace had a plan, brought in a manager and set about a style of recruitment and play, then just what is it 16 months later they remove the manager, now realistically where are palace ever going to finish in premier league, i'd take a guess and say 10th would be about the best they could really hit, possibly a bit higher in a freakish season, this decision for me represents the illusion many clubs have of trying to get to the "next level",

With Sky reporting Hodgson a possible to replace him you wonder how well planned a decision it is!!

He was already the oldest to manage in the Premier League and I think will become the oldest in the Football League if they go down and he stays on next season.
