Blackpool give a young up and coming manager by the name of Mick McCarthy the managers job.

And the old farts on the merry go round keep on going

Played for a good number of league clubs and against us quite a few times.

But only just got his badges and never managed anywhere else.....as far as I can tell, just player coach at Oxford since he had a knee injury and surgery

He's been brought in to keep them up, nothing more.

He did well when taking over at Cardiff, keeping them up.

I like him, I hope he does well there.

Talking of that sort of thing and Cardiff....rumoured that Warnock will be going back to Cardiff.

Apparently Dyche isnt being considered by the Everton board\owner. Seems a strange one as it seems a good fit for him. For what its worth, Lampard not officially sacked as yet but expected to go at some point. The owner guy should probably also take a look at who wasted the £500m they've spent on players since he took over....a lot of that has been spent on some real rubbish.

Team was poor before lampard came in, last few managers have all failed and its the board that should sack themselves. Can anyone else really do any better. Actually feel sorry for lampard

God knows who everton will get in now, i mean who half decent would want to go there. Im betting on a out of work manager or a rookie manager.

Yes, he's not a good manager. A top quality manager would have them midtable, despite the club's troubles.

How do you form the opinion he’s not a good manager when he’s hardly any experience.?
God I hate this league.

He took derby to the playoff final didn’t he? Also Chelsea haven’t done much since he left and he was there mainly during the time they had a transfer embargo.

Not so sure. Rafa benitez hardly did any better and hes a more experienced manager. Club reminds me of newcastle under ashley, whoever goes in is fighting a loosing battle

Everton are a toxic team at present as the Fans want the board and especially Kenwright gone, they've just pushed out the manager thinking that will appease the fans, as we know from our own experience that ain't the answer.

being next bottom & having not won in 12 may have a lot to do with it.
the fans on various phone ins over last few weeks seem united in the opinion that lampard seems a nice bloke but just out of his depth managerially. their desire to rid themselves of the board wont be appeased by this action

Chelsea haven’t done much since he left ? Didn’t they win the Champions League with Tuchel in charge ?

He reportedly spent an absolute fortune on loan players at Derby though.
Mount and Tomori were favours but cost a packet and Wilson too.
He didn’t exactly work miracles at Derby.
