64 teams in R3; 20 Prem, 24 Championship, 20 L1 and below, so just under 16% chance of a Prem team away and even then it could be Brentford or Fulham. Fingers crossed.

I’d absolutely love Fulham away

I’d like us to draw the worst in form team left in the draw at home. Progress to the next round will do for me then we have more chance of some serious coin.

As it stands I think we are the lowest ranked club through to the 3rd round proper

Forest and wolves have 2 points from 7 away games.

Huddersfield have 5 from 9 away

Burton have 5 from 9, Forest Green and Charlton(although could be stockport) have 8 from 10 away.

Hartlepool have 2 from 10 and Gillingham 4 from 10 away (although Dagenham might beat them still)

There's a reference point, so Hartlepool it is then!
Here we go again!

5 Things.
1. Nice to see Sade Khan turned up yesterday - was sat in the Town end with his partner.
2. Great effort from the Away fans getting to an awkward place during a national train strike. Superb support.
3. How come the Womble goalkeeper was allowed to wear an "All Black" kit which matched the referees and also blended into the neon lighting boarding's around the side of the pitch when on black.
4. Ash Palmer looked like he had been playing for us all season (no disrespect to Williams - hope his injury is alright)
5. Well deserved win. Full shift put in by everyone. Couldn't pick a MoM - they all deserved it.
There aint no Soul left in these old shoes... since you've been gone

Surely it’s 16% chance of drawing a Prem team. Drawing one away would be half that?

Well worth the 10hrs on the bus, thankfully back home but that traffic today was horrendous. 2 coaches got to the ground about 3-15pm, thankfully the stewards opened up the large
gates to let us in. We missed Quigs. great header but watched it on the bus home. We totally outplayed them did they have a corner?, and apart from that miss over the bar from 3yds out, they never caused us a problem. Whelan was awesome and was my motm, but the Team performance was tremendous. I'd love anybody at home or Spurs ? Arsenal away/ My ideal game would be a short trip to Leicester.. Come on FA give us a quality tie, the Club deserve it`.

Looking closely at their miss that went over the bar, their player controlled the ball with his arm.

My maths GCSE (lucky B) was 30 years ago, but my working out is as follows- 20 in 63 chance of drawing a Prem team (we are the 64th team in the draw)=31.746% chance. Divided that by 2 for home/away to get 15.873% chance of Prem away draw. Probably completely wrong.

Williams has been unlucky. He could lose his place for many games now. It's good though that Palmer can quickly establish himself in the team - or I guess it would be Maguire back in (as Cook is out on loan) unless I forgot someone.

It would be my guess that Palmer has been brought in with one eye on an upcoming court case more than anything else.

I’ll take your word for that lol

Although, as soon as the first ball is drawn, those odds aren’t valid anyway lol.

Hartlepool at home would suit me. Give them a tanking then move on to Wolves.

Any of the big boys away, so the ticket allocation would ensure those that want to travel can get a ticket along with the club making some ££££'s out of the tie.

So it will be Accrington, Stevenage away !

Cook was after Mullarkey so I think it was always his intention to bolster central defence.
Are you referring to Jones? I'm not sure who would play that role if necessary, maybe Oldacre? But not a CB.

It would be nice to get a home draw for only the 2nd time in 50 odd years, if luck can prevail for once.

Perhaps, like some deep thinking (??) gentleman(??) pointed out on the bus on the way home yesterday, "that maybe our luck is changing".

Wimbledon got me onto 84/92 so would also take Spurs or Westham to get another new one in

Most of Danny Webb's interviews have carried a reference to Cook's (and his) sides getting better and better, saying we won't see the best until after Christmas. I just put this down to the usual manager's interview-speak, but the way things are going I'm beginning to realise it could well be a very thoughtful and insightful summing up. The quality of the football seems to get better and better, so apoligies to DW for doubting his word, and heaven help the sides we meet after Christmas.
Surely Dobra's challenge when he won the ball which led to the first goal was a foul, and Pell's glaring miss was following his controlling the ball with his forearm, but who cares. Just that the luck might finally be starting to run our way.
Great assist by Quigley to set up Dobra's goal - threaded the pass brilliantly - and I could swear that King's goal was intentional. He took a quick look up just before he hit it, and surely, even in his days of poor crosses, he never hit one as far from the forwards as that.
Bring on the Newcastle.
