At least the stewards saw sense with about 100 of us dashing towards the turnstiles at 3.20pm

Horrendous journey with the traffic today, not helped by our driver refusing to let us get off at the ground and driving us a further mile away!! 3.25 when we got in the ground.

I think we are leaving The Technique far too late when visiting any team in and around London. The fact there was a rail strike should have meant an earlier start.

It's just generally late anyway. Last year for the fa cup tie at Salford we got there about 10 minutes before kick off. Didn't even have time to get a drink or food. If there would have been traffic then there would have been no chance. It's been similar a few times this season too.

But that is better than being late like today.

Our driver was forced to stop by the fans, he was furious with the other driver
who was supposed to be leading us. No complaints towards the driver but we did set off 20mins late and then had a 30min break at the services. It was tough driving we got there in the end and back home safely.

Yep. Got in just before kick off at Salford. Same for the play off at halifax. Coaches arrived late at the technique and road works were horrendous(which everyone knew about apart from the club or coach company it seemed). We wouldn’t have made kick off if the police hadn’t come to our rescue and given us an escort to the ground.

Driver of Bus 1 went straight past the ground.We could see Met Police stood there so was obviously Away Fans Entrance then he had to do a three point turn and come back.Wasting more time.

I was like crap off a shovel, I would have been like Rambo if someone got in my way to the turnstile. I wasn't too happy when one of my mates who went on train, shouted at me gesturing tapping his watch saying what kept you. The air was blue for a few seconds but we laughed it off at ht.

I went down in the car and traffic was horrendous on the M1 from Northampton onwards and many hold ups. Extra traffic on the roads due to national rail strike. No fun for the lads and lasses on the True Blue / Bridge Inn/ Barrel coaches. Pleased you all made it in the end for a worthwhile trip.
