Not the point I was making, not saying he won’t be a good player for us at this level, in fact I have confidence that he will be as I have confidence in our recruitment. The point I was making is a) that he hasn’t played much this season so they obviously don’t think of him as anything other than cover and b) is unlikely to play tomorrow unless they want to give him game time

Although I have heard of him I haven’t really have noticed him but I’m happy to wait and see.

That he’ll start tomorrow after little football this season and I’m happy to wait and see just how good he is. Outragious stuff I know

I would have thought tomorrow would be the ideal time to give him match time without affecting our points chasing in League games. I assume he will have kept himself fit anyway.

He’s not come here not to play so I’m assuming he’s had some sort assurance about his initial plans to play him alongside Grimes. It could be argued it’s a little harsh on TW but he improves us even 5% it could be the difference.

Cookie has shown no inclination in disturbing a winning team league or cup hopefully he won’t do that tomorrow.

Have to disagree, can't see him bringing him in just to sit on the bench. The cup game gives him a chance without us losing points.

Obviously he has come here to play football and as he can’t get a Hagen at Stockport, what better club than us in terms of size, potential and location?

I’d be amazed if he has had any such assurance from PC

If nothing else with the money Stockport could spend last season the fact he played 45 games for them and they didn’t want to replace him suggests on paper he’s a decent signing.

Also when DW said yesterday nothing was close in terms of signings he was telling a bit of a fib!!
