Its inevitable he'd score on his debut though.

I doubt it'll last!

The goalkeeper went for a siesta when it happened.

The cobblers fans seem full of it.

An instinctive volley finish apparantly - probably had no time to think about it, wait until he's missed a succession of one on ones.......

Fair play to him ... he's gone out in his first game and done all he could.
He never really clicked for us ... tho from what others have said, he gave his all ... fair play!

Apparantly Carlisle beat the same opponents 10-0 - so don't read too much into it!

It would be unfortunate if Larkin has a good season at Northampton. I get enough stick from the locals as it is. Happily, my 'local' is a "rugby" pub so at least I can drink in peace.

I doubt he'll do any worse than he did with us. I suspect you'll have to suffer a little grief from the locals. :(

well he was sh*t for us and he would have been sh*t all the time he played for us. If he does well elsewhere it doesnt mean we have made a mistake coz he wouldnt be scoring goals for us coz he couldnt do it! I shouldnt worry if he does well for someone else coz he wouldnt be doing the same for us.

Yes Larkin will start scoring again now he's left Town! How do we manage to deconstruct goal scorers?

He was barely a goalscorer before he came to us...hardly 'deconstructing' him.

yeh, just like N'Toya, Debolla and Glynn Hurst all went on to score hatfuls... :D

even Folan's only managed a couple since he left (though in fairness, he's mostly being used a sub!)

only striker recently (other than Kev Davies) who's gone on to score more that I can think of was Jason Lee - and he couldnt exactly have scored less could he??
