Don’t tell Town Fan!
I cant make it, I've decided I'm officially old and have booked a cruise.
I've got to pick the cruise tickets up from Southampton.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

The image that only the old book a cruise is that of those that can’t think outside the box. You’ll love it mate.

Cant say I particularly enjoyed the ones I went on, but suspect the first was because it was an American cruise out of Miami and full of Americans. Second was OK but I enjoyed the being off the boat more than being on it....
I wouldnt say I wont do it again, but I'd be more bothered about where we stopped than which cruise line / ship / etc. The one that appeals most is Norway I think...

We’ve done two, the first was a Royal Caribbean one around the Western Med and their ships do attract Americans and are very family orientated, which I’d recommended for those with families, less so fir couples. The second was with P and O on the Britannia around the Caribbean with just me and the missus. We absolutely loved it and are off with them to the Caribbean again in January, postponed from last January due to covid. Can’t wait.

Been on several ,always from a UK port and loved them.
But have to say always went on one's that looked like ships and not floating multi story hotels.
Sad to see Cruise Maritime has ceased trading, they were always great value on older ships.
