Win-win.

Player moves on with enough in his pocket to accept lower money elsewhere, Club use what they save to sign a more consistent talent.

Look forward to more movement soon...

Miller struck me as one of those players who had built a career on pace, but consequently never learned how to develop as a footballer. Always seemed to lack the understanding of what was going on around him needed to make the correct decisions.
These go to eleven.

You say the form he showed at Meadow Lane but from speaking to a Notts fan I know when we signed him, he said that Millers ‘stats’ were very poor.
Notts use these stat- based programmes when recruiting and, as we’ve since learned, Miller produced no goals, no assists and has almost no positive impact on games.

I think we just saw an out of character performance in the play off game.

The majority seemed to like him and so did we after he took us apart for 20 minutes in that playoff game - end result he faded out the game without an end result

Story of his time with us - flattered to deceive - should really be making more of his attributes

Unfortunately this so-called ‘win-win’ costs us thousands out out budget and has done for years

I hope the attendances have raised extra cash that, added to the saving from paying him off, mean we will sign a player who can make a difference to our season

Good for posterior exercise, he got us off our seats time enough, just to sit us back down seconds later

Seen far worse players than him in recent years, good luck to him I say and hope he has some success in the future

He was like a poor Franz Carr, Went on some good runs but couldn't cross a ball or even pick the right pass, good at getting into the area though at speed then hoping someone would foul him.

Was at fault last season for a few goals when he could have stuck a foot in, and never looked the same after Will Evans smashed him.

Franz Carr. Remember the name but had to look him up.
Apparently [quote] Clough described Carr in typical idiosyncratic fashion as the best blxxdy corner flag hitter in the country, if only that was where the net was.
