Says a lot about how he's progressed that I was worried when I just saw his name as the title of this thread. Good news 👍

For me, he’s been the stand out player for us so far this season.

He works hard and has earned an extension, he seems to come good in the 2nd half, just wish he could add more goals he certainly has class.

cook talked about others being offered longer term contracts.. who? i hope king is one for starters, king and kabbs the best of the JR signings, otherwise other key players now mostly cooks signings.

Yep, interesting stuff in today's presser about both releases and retentions that's not stimulated much interest yet. Folk want to get tomorra over.

Interesting that despite all the talk on here about him being not good enough etc that’s now two recent managers given him a new contract and various others kept playing him.

He's a player, simple as that.

Infact he was pretty much the only one who could put a foot on the ball at Stamford Bridge...

Agree and always thought the same. He’s always been one of our technically better players as stood out at Chelsea. Possibly like some others he was part of crap sides and as he stayed around he was picked out by some but last couple of years he’s been a big part of better sides.

link up with king on that right side was back on it today, ok it was nomads but good to see the understanding return, all the talk is of kabby's exit in january, i am equally concerned that king may also attract EFL interest, hope he is one of the lads cook is talking to about contract extension.

I’ve eaten some serious humble pie over this bloke

I thought he was a lazy glove wearing wage stealing nothing of a player who was stealing a living at this game

Then I watched him play at Chelsea….

I thought blimey he looks quite comfortable in this company and then it got me thinking how many mangers keep giving him a contract and then this season he has put some right shifts in

Deserves his contract and the praise he is getting

Pie 🥧 well and truly eaten 😂😂👍
