I hope I'm wrong but I don't expect a word of contrition from Mr. Dynamite/Trust the trust/S and D/ David or whatever hes known as. One can only hope he takes time to reflect. again I doubt it.

I think we are giving him far too much discussion time. Forget him.

Exactly. I truly believe in innocent until proven guilty, and whilst I must admit to already pretty strongly disliking James Rowe, he is still that. However, employing someone who (unless I'm mistaken) was at best under investigation for what he's now been charged with? It's not only a shìte move morally, it's properly stupid to boot. I wish them absolutely zero success.

6 months into a 3 year contract. Wonder if he got a pay off to agree to leave.

I'd imagine as he was under a cloud when he joined it was a standard get out clause, written fairly generically to refer to known events, that if they crystallised he would resign... or the owner is as stupid as he is not very pleasant (allegedly)

Just like to add - and make no apology for doing so - this once again proves 'BB' members ain't daft.

We once again had folk who might be deemed 'the usual suspects' adopting an 'I'll only believe the official version/no one on here knows the facts/I'm not interested in rumour or gossip or hearsay' attitude.

Only to discover that rumour, gossip and hearsay was pretty accurate.

Well done all...

The football side of his decision has been ok - they got to the playoffs and are doing well this season so all in all, assuming his stupidity only extended to paying him a monthly salary, he's lost nowt for his gamble. In fact, had they won the play offs I'd say he'd been pretty shrewd.

The finale, ending as a resignation, surprised me.

The exact thing you slag off folk for doing... listening to rumours, hearsay, not waiting for the official version; isn't that a bit 'Daily Mail' esque? The same folk you refer to as 'cranks', 'loons', 'nut jobs' and 'conspiracy theorists'? When it suits your narrative, it's all good....👍🏻

Surely, if folk aren't 'in the know', they'd be better off waiting for an official version?

I guess that depends whether you think the result is more important than the reputation. And he now has to find a new manager, who will probably want different players and a different style, and start the process again.

For me, the end result doesnt justify the means, on that basis we could have kept him until we knew if he was being charged or not. I certainly wouldnt have supported that...There is innocent till proven guilty in the eyes of the law (beyond reasonable doubt etc) and then there is on the balance of probabilities for an internal investigation, and for me the club's reputation is based on the latter not the former.

I think the Trust come out of this with great credit. They have shown principle, discretion & not a little class. All things completely alien to Rowe's lickspittle on here.

I think you mean, "He Who Laughs Last, Laughs Longest"

Some clubs don't deserve the crap but then again if I had to pick one they would be in the top few

On the 7th November court hearing, he will no doubt plead not guilty, doesnt the magistrate then have to send it to a Judge and Jury at Crown court ? Which wont be til at the earliest next year !?

Hoare (400)

Asked a Magistrate about this yesterday....

Without getting into any details about this case.

It is, apparently, common for plea bargaining to take place between solicitors as a guilty plea in exchange for reduced charges is often a mutually desireable outcome if the maximum sentence would then fall within the Magistrates court's remit.

My understanding is that the number of counts of charges is read out by the Clerk.

I know one of the magistrates hearing the case. He's also an avid town supporter and St holder

I agree, although I suspect Fishini is not being serious.

I expect the court appearance on 7/11 is just to enter a plea, the trial won't be set until then
