For sixty plus minutes LCFC matched THFC. Infact were arguably the better side. Then Son's brilliance just blew them away.
Dunno what's happened at Leicester - though a supporting mate suggests the owners are 'doing an Allen' - but feel for Rodgers based on that performance...
As I've previously said on this thread, that's total bullshiit. He's spent a fortune and sold two players; how's that 'doing an Allen'?
There's still a lot of quality in that team, a team that, for two consecutive seasons, just missed out on the CL. You don't go from fifth to bottom, because your keeper leaves.
There's absolutely no way Schmeichel left Leicester for footballing reasons; he absolutely loved it there, and he and Vardy were inseparable. It's not like there was an offer dangling, so massive that they couldn't turn it down... I've heard it was around a million quid. And Nice, of all teams. Strange choice but also one that uproots his family to the south of France.
Something's gone on and Rogers is waiting for his payoff. Either way, the saying, 'he's lost the dressing room', couldn't be more apt.
Speaking of Vardy. It's entirely possible that his wife's court battle and subsequent loss (and the stuff that came out in court) has had an impact. Between them, over the years, they could have been feeding the press various stories about fellow players, etc. It's certainly very coincidental.

Vardy and Schmeichel are getting older. Perhaps Rodgers thought the time had come to replace them though I think he’d have signed better than Ward if Schmeichel’s departure had been planned properly. Kasper’s kids are 12 and 14, according to Wiki, so perhaps he thought it a reasonable time to move from Lestoh to the Med- what a wrench that must have been.

Nice or Leicester? I don't mind it as a place these days, but if I were a multi-millionaire footballer I wouldn't need much encouragement to relocate to the French Riviera.

in those circumstances. Dyche to Leicester?
Well I can only report what I saw and heard.
Leicester din't look like a side that'd turned on their boss for sixty minutes and I'd suggest a regular at their games knows more about what's going on than any 'BB' conspiracy theorist talking of 'bulls**t'.
Either way the Town fan in me wants Dychey back in a job pronto - but would the Kingpower faithfull want his brand of football, though?
I'll let you know when I see my mate again...

I think Dychey would look at what tools he's got available and change his brand of football to suit what he's got, when you've got players like Maddison, Vardy, Barnes & Tielemans you don't play the Burnley way....however he can drill the defensive part of the squad to at least attempt to defend corners like Burnley did....

Isn’t Schmeichel’s wife a nurse? I wouldn’t be surprised if her and the kids have stayed where they are whilst Schmeichel is playing in Nice and he comes back when possible or they pop over there. It’s only a couple of hours flight if that. I don’t think whole families up sticks and move every time they change clubs.

Is it the same guy who owns the bar in that glorious right-wing, Brexit loving, racist hotbed, anti immigration, holiday destination you regularly CHOOSE to frequent? I'm sure he's well in the know.
Just like you, telling Duncan that his tactics were shiit 😂 THE most successful manager in our history; worked miracles on a shoestring budget, and you...YOU, have the front to 'tell him to his face'. Perfectly sums you up, dunt it, punchy 👍🏻👊🏻

People don't give a Bunkum about all those things when they go on holiday. I've been to Albania this year. The most corrupt country in Europe, affected my holiday not one iota.

It's me being sardonic....a bit of playful irony. It's a joke ffs.

He's said on a podcast recently that he's doing his one man shows at the moment and is booked up until Christmas (he started in Sheffield last week). He is only doing one or 2 a month, but they're on Fridays or Saturdays. He did say that he wouldn't rule out coming back out of retirement again (6th time??), if the right job came up 🤣
