Given his outstanding start to the season he might well be on the radar or the senior team, if not he’ll certainly feature for the U23s again, so are we likely to lose him for some games due to international call ups, even at U23 level?

Given his great start to the season he’s got to be on their radar.

Surely Clarke ( if fit enough) would be the more attacking option. It would mean accommodating Clarke more centrally but seeing as Dobra has been all over the park we could have flexibility with Manderville.
God I hate this league.

Hasn’t the U23 age level all but disappeared. Don’t think Albania have any U21 games coming up before he is 22 but there is a couple of full internationals in the September break
He’ll do well to get a call-up as most of their squad are playing for clubs in tier 2 or above of various European leagues

And yet in the warm up I've seen him shooting powerfully into the goal. Only question is, what is that strange coloured bandage on his thigh?

Isn’t eligibility based on the age at a set date each season rather than the player’s age at the time of the match?. And if I recall correctly you can also play a small number of over age players, 3 I think…

This has actually quite surprised me with you saying this. You don't normally jump to conclusions so quickly about players, you normally give them a good chance before making judgement. Cookie keeps picking him ahead of Clarke and giving him game time so there must be a footballer in there somewhere.

There’s deffo a player from what I’ve heard. I only said so far, I expect he’ll get better.

He's probably not fit yet. Didn't he sign because he wasn't getting game time (at Plymouth?). Can't really not use him in those circumstances.
