DW said post match that we have pretty much a full squad of fit players and some are going to be unlucky to miss out of a place in the 16

That 20 minutes where we totally battered them was the most enjoyable period of football I’ve watched for quite some time.

DW said in his post match interview on Radio Sheff that he was just unlucky with only 5 subs being named!

Having said that, when we have been dominant we have not punished teams as much as we should have and, sometimes, rushed shots from range rather than showing a little more patience. If you don't score when on top you are likely to get punished as has been demonstrated in games so far. Aldershot & Barnet both showed we are a bit vulnerable to a quick counter attack too.
All in all though I am sure that Cook will endeavour to improve the squad further as he seeks to iron out any deficiencies on the training ground etc. But, the exciting thing is that there might even be a bit of the first season at the new stadium about us under JS - "if you score 3 we'll score 4".
We have a number of players we have not seen yet, and I thought it interesting that Uchenbulam was chosen ahead of Gyasi last night, so those in possession of the shirt at the moment know they have to continue to perform as the squad seems to have strength in depth.

Re Gyasi, maybe they are sharing out the bench places.
I don't want the stress of conceding goals on the path to victory. A defence as tight as a ducks ringpiece please, with 1 or 2 goals scored against the better teams and 3,4 or 5 against the lesser teams. Thats all I ask for.

The way the side is set up with such a high defensive line even more evident with Covolan playing last night the ball over the top is always the danger and Barnet tried it a few times. He’s got the full backs both pushed up and trusts the 2 center backs 1 on 1 to deal with it. It’s not going to change as it leaves us dominant in possession which you are seeing but will leave us open to the counter with Ollie and DJ dropping in to have 2 in front to stop the counter on the floor.
I will take the way we are playing every time with the knowledge we may get caught occasionally…it’s exciting football..it’s what I want to watch…it’s what I’ve paid my money for.

You fool , Quigley as been excellent all season. Don't know what games you have been watching. He deserved a goal last night the work rate he puts in is second to none. For him to get a standing ovation from all sides of the ground says it all , I take it you stayed sat down that's if you were even there!
