If we had transferred him after last season I wouldn’t have complained but fair play, he’s knuckled down, bought into Cook’s style of play and so far has made himself a key player and I take back what I said about him last year. A bit of luck and steadiness in front of goal he could have had 2 but goals will come.

Agree, Joe is a different player now and I don't agree with those saying start Kabby ahead of him (or Akwasi for that matter, he was excellent again and scored)

Absolutely clueless post. Quigley was quality tonight and has been good all season. I think the standing ovation when he went off and “there’s only one joe Quigley” from the kop, showed you’re in a minority with your view

Assuming it’s nothing more than giving their old teammates a bit of support , it shows what a tight knit group we had/have and fair play.

He looked decent and clearly fancies himself as an outfield player, a la Ederson / Allison and will definitely entertain this season, that's for sure. His distribution was excellent and there was nothing he could do about their goal. Made an excellent one on one save just before half time too.
