The problem is the club havent picked one or the other, if the club want to sell tickets and put people though extra hassles then at least let the customer some pay off by having that loyalty acknowledged.

The club is charging people for inconveniencing the club through surcharges for perceived extra work re admin for home games (ironically discouraging walk ups but hey ho) but it seems there's no reward for jumping through the hoops when CFC sell away tickets. Its just a convoluted make it up as you go along solution replacing solid tested and convenient ticket purchasing solutions provided by the away team.

How hard can it be?

I'll ask you again, if there's no issue why are CFC selling away tickets and forcing CFC fans to jump through extra hoops?
They aren't How many matches have you not been able to get tickets to,also why did your group have trouble being together at Dorking when it was nearly all terrace?

Especially if they keep a significant portion back for mates.

You keep saying this with no proof. My son works for the club and yet we both had to wait until yesterday to get Altrincham tickets as we are not season ticket holders, this means I've got a standing ticket because all the seating have been sold to season ticket holders.
Just because you think you know something, doesn't make it true.

Then you're clearly not important enough to be part of the inner sanctum.

See if you can ask your son how many non season ticket holders got Solihull tickets despite them selling out to STH online in less than 30 seconds.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

There were obviously some for players (limited to 1 I think from one of the players there when I queued), players were in the away end, some for sponsors (which is fair I think) 100 for those in the queue. If memory serves 5-600 tickets in total. So maybe 400ish sold in 30 seconds….so even at 2 each that’s 200 people trying to get them…I’m surprised it was as much as 30 seconds

I'd genuinely be tempted to buy you a season ticket just to stop hearing you whine about away tickets. Solid investment.

It was significantly less than 400 online, I got a couple and bang on 9am it was about 150 odd. Remember questioning it at the time as I know a even smaller number went on sale at the shop too.

Maybe, I'm not convinced. There were 100 names on the sheet for those on sale at the ground as there was a clipboard with names on to 100.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make it true.

Can you please ask your son whether the company providing the buses for True Blue is a CFC sponsor?

It seems to me that if it is then it's perfectly reasonable to give them priority when away tickets are a scarce commodity. I'd gladly vote to give up my ST privilege for an away ticket to make that happen.

And the same thing for the Bridge Inn Travel anawl, if they also sponsor.

More income for CFC and stops all the faffing on the few occasions when tickets are too scarce.

And for long distance Spireites, they enter an arrangement with the bus company to transport their ticket to the destination for a small fee, and that counts as if they booked a seat.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

So you want Valemadness's son to quizz his employer about commercially sensitive information...what planet are you on...the lad will be out of a job !

Nobody has suggested Tru Blu and Bridge inn travel get priority.
But as both contribute to club funds I wouldn't object if they did.

If I was running the club and we had limited away tickets I would want to make sure I sold as many tickets as possible to people traveling on and paying for a coach that we were contracted to hire and pay for.

Yep season tickets on coaches first as a package, sth whether remote or local, a loyalty card, then free for all.

Since when has sponsorship been confidential?
I simply can't find a definitive list of all sponsors.

People on this very thread are suggesting Tru Blu get priority so so hardly nobody.
Your conclusion is the same as mine.

Nope I won't.
You can however use the email addresses provided on the club website to ask the commercial manager instead.
