Pete Whitley did the deed at Halifax last season. Good job it wasn't raining

What if Pete had been delayed in traffic? There are email ticket deliveries available and we are having to wait for a bloke with an envelope. Give me strength.

Again at Dorking this meant our group couldn't stay together as tickets had to be picked up. CFC getting involved is making it worse for their customers and for minimal return.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Can you imagine buying a train ticket and rocking up to the station to be told you need to see some random bloke who may or may not be there. Utter tinpot madness.

Maybe customers could charge a surcharge to the club forcing all this extra work just to see a football match?

If only I could have bought them from Alty's website, stored them on my phone and not had any other issues to sort out? I know its an impossible ask obviously.
You really are a bundle of laughs. I will ask again which matches have you failed to get tickets for?
As for buying straight from the away club that rather undermines the promise to season ticket holders of priority for tickets does it not?

You might need some tissue but heard we've got 3000 tickets for Oldham and it's POTG or in advance on Oldhams site only, no sales at CFC

So when it comes to crunch time when tickets are on short supply (soilyhull etc) how do season ticket holders prove they were at Oldham? If proof of away attendance becomes a requirement? 🤔

Actually make a last minute decision and use pounds shillings and pence at the turnstile? What’s the world coming to?

We’ve got folk wanting a loyalty system to reward people which can only be done with CFC selling all tickets for away games and folk saying leave it to the host club to sell…..club can’t win either way.

For what it’s worth I suspect it’s only at this level where you’d buy in advance from the home club as an away fan creating an account on their system etc. higher up you would always buy from your own club for any game home and away.

The problem is the club havent picked one or the other, if the club want to sell tickets and put people though extra hassles then at least let the customer some pay off by having that loyalty acknowledged.

The club is charging people for inconveniencing the club through surcharges for perceived extra work re admin for home games (ironically discouraging walk ups but hey ho) but it seems there's no reward for jumping through the hoops when CFC sell away tickets. Its just a convoluted make it up as you go along solution replacing solid tested and convenient ticket purchasing solutions provided by the away team.

How hard can it be?

I'll ask you again, if there's no issue why are CFC selling away tickets and forcing CFC fans to jump through extra hoops?

For some sad reason I have saved all my away tickets from when we played our first game at Ebbsfleet, some folk save programmes.lol. I've missed Dover away last season due to covid.keep meaning to put them in some sort of album before the wife chucks them in the bin.

Good news, it will be lovely getting a ticket and not have to travel to Chesterfield on Thursday unless the sun is rising in Gemini in which case tickets will be picked up on the M6 services using the codewords "James Higgins has won the raffle again".

Spot on -touché and all that

As top premiership clubs know they’ll always sell out there is no need to make it up as they go along. And also they have comprehensive loyalty schemes and is some cases monet spinning memebership schemes to manage

You’ll probably have to queue up at an away ticket office with 1500 others and then queue up again at the turnstiles - always found that a pain in the arris - I’ll be moaning like buggury if that happens

They won't need to as that won't happen.
