Where would Tshimanga fit in at the moment

Where does Rowe fit in? We have real alternatives to select a specific team to play anyone.

That is the thing that will get us promoted. How many times I've seen us ease off the gas toward the end of the game then lose.
All the extra hard work in pre season training to get supremely fit pays off in spades.
This side has quality all over the pitch. We made a promotion favourite side look ordinary, Well done PC and the team.

We had a good number of players not in the 16 last night - Covalan, Sheckleford, Clements, Cook, Miller, Rowe, Oleyeke, Uchegbulem, Gyasi, have I missed anyone? How do they get into the 16?

This thread on their forum is particularly funny…..apparently we were deluded in our thoughts going into last nights match……*bump*

Pretty sure PC will arrange a game soon for them plus some of the ones on the bench that are only getting 10/15 minutes here and there.

You could genuinely make a case for 6/7 MoM's which is outrageous.
Going to give my shoutout to the unsung Oldaker who seems like the complete package, reads the game well, tackles hard, picks passes and has the stamina do to do it all for 90 minutes - what a find he is.
Paul Cook is making good on his promise, this is a team you actually want to sit and watch week in week out regardless of results.

Agree with that, especially the reference to Oldaker. That brilliant tackle near the end when Mullin was going clear in our area, was superb - Bobby Moore would have been proud of that one.

I’m going to be controversial for some and say as soon as possible Kabongo will replace Quigley. Whilst Quigley has certainly played better he doesn’t carry anywhere near the same goal threat, his shots on goal lack any real power and for a tall lad his ability to direct headers on target is pretty poor. Last night he played well, he pressed, he’s holding the ball up much better, he was running all over the pitch, and despite not scoring he played really well. BUT ask yourself this - when you see him with the ball near the goal do you have confidence he’ll score? Because unfortunately I don’t

Not at all. I've been happy that he's picked his performances up but still zero confidence of a goal. And I wouldn't say he's been awesome either, he's just doing the things I expect a target man to do like hold the ball up and pass it short. For me it's as simple as do we want the guy who bags for fun or the guy who doesn't, it's an easy answer.

I wudn't say thats a controversial statement.........i think most people would want a 20-30 goal a season Kabongo back in to replace Quigley when he is ready.
