A "Big Up" to all the Wrexham fans travelling all that way on a rainy Tuesday night. They are a big club with a great fan base and deserve better. Proper club and proper fans. Bit of the usual friendly banter with the W7 lot but wish them all a safe journey home. Their youngsters wouldn't understand the history of our clubs going back and the respect we showed each other at the 1997 Saltergate FA Cup game. Great atmosphere all around the ground and their were some old heads out tonight. Thats what football is all about. Great night an a great advert for NL

Everybody was brilliant tonight including Quigley and Mandeville who I’ve given their fair share of stick. Mandeville always puts a shift in and Quigley held it up well. Banks oozes class. Oldaker is non-league Jimmy Ryan. King a contender for MOTM too, lost count of the number of tackles he won cleanly despite being on a yellow and took his goal brilliantly too. So much potential for this season to be a success.

Parkinson is a bit of a dinosaur and with their budget it’s amazing how they are still down here, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t bearable. This is a comment from a Wrexham fan who was at the game tonight.

Rarely pist but my son and I have just got out of the ground. Totally outplayed and outpassed by a proper team. We played like a bunch of total strangers and could have been their first match together. With the quality we have should not have to watch a performance like that. So many awful performances. For a young lad who cost us nothing, thought Cleworth did ok, and Mullin’s frustration and passion showed in his tracking back but id that what we bought him for? Forwards feeding on scraps, keeper-we nned better, and something is horribly wrong somewhere with this team. 🙁
