Thanks for that….looks a good set up….I have experience in setting up a new facility with several pitches dressing rooms showers etc plus car parking and I can assure you it’s not an easy or quick project. This facility is probably the only one in the area that I have either not played on or took teams to. Passed it many times but never been in and it looks good to go once the grounds team have given it a once over.

Yep, wherever the location, the important thing is that the acquisition is transparently shrewd in the long term. I've no doubt the technicalities of the location will have been sanctioned by Cooky. This is a key decision for the Board and one option will of course be to pull out if the deal is not right.

The link I've put up is Chesterfield College's link (assume that they currently own the ground) that shows photos and a video of the Langer Lane location and shows the inside of the building etc.
Our preseason training videos and photos are all based at the Tubeworks or Holmebrook Valley Park.

I have zero influence over the media team. Like you wouldn't expect Paul Cook's mother to have any influence over the team or John Croot's mother to have any influence over the club. The news was provided in the club's official podcast and if and when there is news, there will appropriate updates.
