I was sat right near Cookie and he’s relentless on the touchline constantly issuing instructions between his classic ‘pass pass pass’ ‘press press press’ shouts.
It’s a joy to watch when everyone buys into the philosophy and the best thing is it looks like every single player, new and old has.

How did it look to those that went ?
Pitch looked as near to perfect as you could wish for. It was refreshing seeing some decent Cook type high press football on the deck, after lord knows how many years of hoofball where we lose possession. Like a glass of cold water to a man in the desert. Long may it continue.

I was also right next to the home home dugout, we all said that the old Cooky was back to his normal safe. The passion from him on the touchline encouraging Every player was great to hear. The pass and press movement was there for 90mins. He has put a great squad together which will get even better when Kabby, Danny, Clarke and Carline return fully fit. The pressure is on Wrexham to win the league, I hope they fail again, but if we show good consistency and stay injury free, then we are more than good enough to end the season as Championship.

Top of the league with over 2pts a game and 2 losses in 27?

Excellent result and hope you are right but can such judgements be made on the basis of a home friendly against possibly complacent/under motivated opposition, as opposed to, say, Solihull in a league game?

A bit much calling them a top L2 team. They finished 14th last season.
According to reports Bradford are one of the favourites with the bookies to win promotion they start next week but we made them look very ordinary at times

Why would they be complacent and under motivated in their last pre season game, we weren’t. Mind you they do have the useless Hughes as manager so you’ve probably got a point!

pressure that fans will be expecting him to start knocking the goal's in as he did last season. Just give him time.
Whistler- presumably you’re giving inside info.
Who the hell gave him the idea a few months ago of doing depth jumps (drops) post surgery?
Was that himself for insta or was it given by the physio!
Unless a major breakdown of the rehab and recovery given that particular exercise he would only have been a week or two from RTP
